Lessonfield is designed to need very little information.

No account is required for the free product. Lessonfield does not ask for a child’s legal name, date of birth, school, teacher, school board, email address, diagnosis, IEP, or report-card information.

Static learning guides

The learning library is served as static content and does not require a child profile or account.

Personalized help

If you use Ask Lessonfield, your short question is sent to the configured AI provider only to produce that response. Please do not include identifying information. Lessonfield does not intentionally store the prompt as a child profile.

To prevent abuse and cap cost, the server uses a signed anonymous browser token plus hashed, day-scoped network information in Cloudflare KV. These controls are used for rate limiting, not to build profiles.

Plus pricing and interest testing

Lessonfield Plus is not for sale yet and there is no active subscription, checkout or billing flow. The public Pricing and Plus pages test whether adults are interested in a proposed weekly learning plan at C$3.99/month or C$39/year.

If you join the Plus interest list, Lessonfield asks only for an adult email address, your role (for example parent/caregiver) and one price-intent choice. The response is recorded in Cloudflare KV so the experiment does not depend on email delivery. The record contains only that adult email, role, price intent, language/source and submission timestamps. Duplicate submissions from the same normalized email update the existing record rather than creating another distinct response. Plus interest records expire after 180 days.

The storage key uses a secret-salted hash of the normalized adult email. The stored value still contains the adult email so Lessonfield can recognize and follow up with people who joined the interest list. The form does not request child information and does not create an account, trial, learner profile, purchase or charge.

Advertising and billing

Lessonfield has no advertising and does not currently process subscription payments or card information.

Contact messages

If you use the general contact form, Lessonfield forwards the information you choose to provide, the language and submission time to the configured Lessonfield inbox. Lessonfield does not store the general contact message content in its KV store. A short-lived, day-scoped hashed network counter is kept only to limit abuse. If automated contact delivery is unavailable, the site may offer a direct email fallback. Please do not include identifying information about a child.
